Stateside Architecture Student Re-purposes School Bus

It's not everyday I post something from the US but I just thought the creative imagination at work in this story deserved some Epic attention. Fustrated with mundane, on-paper submissions for imaginary clients demanded by his architecture degree, Hank Butitta bought an abandoned school bus on America's equivelant of Gumtree and spent 14 weeks with some mates building it up into an awesome looking living space. Complete with a kitchen, bathroom, beds, storage, and even a floor made from wood panels stripped from an old gymnasium. Anybody who has frequented Newcastle Dean Street's Brew Dog will know just how cool re-purposed gymnassium floors look!

Now that Hank's course is over, him and his mates are on an epic 5,000 mile trek across North America to "road test" this funky, creative new living space. The only question I have for Hank is, can I join the road trip too?!

To keep up with Hank and the team's progress, take a tour of the bus and to read more about this project head over to the website Hank Bought a Bus.
