Amazing Media, announce a special gig to showcase the best emerging music in the North East. The event on Friday 22nd May at Sage Gateshead will celebrate the launch of Amazing Record Co., amazing's new independent record label. Featuring locally sourced talent in the form of Tessera Skies, Bridie Jackson and The Arbour, and Immy Williams, the Amazing Presents... night promises to deliver on the potential that amazing has been helping to nurture since 2007.
Sohe set to host exclusive one-‐year anniversary party on 30th April. It’s hard to believe that it’s been a year since Sohe first opened its doors and burst onto the Newcastle restaurant scene. Located in Jesmond, this Asian Fusion restaurant has quickly become a hotspot for vibrant dining in the city.

Professor MacDonald will discuss under-represented groups in science, technology and engineering, and the morning will focus on her report to consider: "When it comes to encouraging women into science, technology and engineering, we just haven’t got the messaging right. Most girls decide that jobs and careers in science are “not for people like me”.
